The gripping, passionate film SUDDENLY is guaranteed to raise your heartbeat as it oscillates between thriller and psychological survival, heightened by Rapha l's original soundtrack. This epic tale of romance and survival is the latest work by Thomas Bidegain, renowned for his collaborations with director Jacques Audiard on films such as A Prophet and Rust and Bone.

Ben (Gilles Lellouche) and Laura (the astonishing M lanie Thierry) embark on a global sailing journey, ending up on a remote island in the Antarctic.
When a storm hits and takes their boat, they find themselves isolated and alone with no means of communication. In their struggle for survival alongside the preservation of their relationship, Ben and Laura will have to do things they never imagined, confronting questions they never thought they would have to ask: is it better to survive alone, or to die together?

Suddenly screens from 23rd May as part of our French Film Festival www.avocabeachtheatre.com..french-film-festival-2024.
