The Quintessential Pantomime Style

Pantomimes are characterized by their larger-than-life characters, uproarious comedy, melodious musical numbers, and a timeless battle between good and evil. Audiences can anticipate uproarious laughter, heartwarming moments, and a dash of enchantment that resonates with the spirit of the fairy tales.

From the hilarious antics of the dame, a cross-dressing comic character, to the flamboyant heroics of the principal boy played by a young woman, the traditional pantomime style brings together a medley of theatrical elements that celebrate the joyous and the absurd in equal measure.

Yes, a travelling show! We are excited!

This is a return to the sometimes productions of the past with the maxim “Ïf you want to be in it, we'll find a spot for you!” With provisos, of course! It is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children (no experience necessary, just energy) to perform together in what will be fun and frolicsome and slapstick-ly stupendous.

Auditions will take place on Sunday 17, September from 2pm til 5 pm, apart from one meet the cast and crew, we envisage full group rehearsals will not start in earnest until after The Full Monty ends in November; we will finish for the Christmas season and then recommence after New Year.
In all, 6- 8 weeks rehearsals.
